It's a YELLOW BOX JUNCTION... and we've been caught on the yellow lines!

A number of local councils have now been give new traffic powers to fine drivers for offences that were previously only enforced by the police: Surrey, Hampshire and Reading Councils will begin monitoring yellow box junctions and issuing fines of up to £70.

But whether you should pay depends on which way you were going - straight on, or turning left, or right? You may have a defence to a fine.

You should not get any penalty points on your licence though.
