Legal representation in the criminal courts across Hampshire, Sussex and Surrey
FAQ's
As a barrister, I am a specialist advocate trained to present your case powerfully and persuasively, both in writing and in court.
Think of a solicitor as a GP, handling a broad range of legal issues to a certain extent. In contrast, a barrister is like a specialist consultant, focusing deeply on specific areas with extensive knowledge and experience.
I can represent you in any Court in the land. I can make representations to legal authorities who may be considering your case. I can negotiate settlements on your behalf.
I work for a fee agreed upon in advance. Our agreement will detail the work I will do for you, when, and for how much. There are no hidden extras. If additional work is needed later, we will agree on the cost together.
If your case is important to you, whether it involves your livelihood, home, or liberty, you deserve the best representation. While you could represent yourself, having an expert barrister gives you the best chance of a successful outcome.
The Bar Standards Board oversees all my work, from our initial agreement to my advice and conduct in and out of court. They ensure high standards and provide a comprehensive complaints and redress procedure if you're not satisfied with my service.
