Drivers face an immediate fine of £150 is any litter is thrown from their car – even if they didn’t throw it!

Our roadsides are covered in litter thrown from cars - sandwich packets, drinks cans, vapes, coffee cups, nitrous oxide capsules, soiled nappies, and thousands of cigarette butts.

Now, with cameras everywhere, and AI scanning them all the time, if a local Council has evidence that a piece of litter was thrown from YOUR CAR… then YOU ARE LIABLE for a fine of £150 – a fixed penalty, EVEN IF YOU DIDN'T THROW IT! And our Councils need the money, so they are watching!
